These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all purchases made through soiedesiam.com by consumers.
By placing an order on the website, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

2. Products
Soie de Siam offers silk goods, leather goods and fashion accessories for sale online.
The essential characteristics of each product are presented on the relevant product page. Soie de Siam takes reasonable care to ensure that descriptions, photographs and colours represent the products as accurately as possible.
However, colours may appear slightly different depending on the customer's screen and display settings. Slight variations inherent to natural materials or the manufacturing process may also occur and are not necessarily considered defects.
3. Prices
Prices are displayed in euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise indicated.
Delivery charges are not included in the product price unless expressly stated. They are displayed before the customer confirms the order.
The total price payable, including applicable taxes and delivery charges, is shown at checkout before the order is placed.
Soie de Siam may change its prices at any time. The price applicable to an order is the price displayed and accepted by the customer when the order is placed.
4. Orders
Customers select the products they wish to purchase and add them to their cart.
Before confirming an order, customers have the opportunity to review the products selected, quantities, delivery information and total price and to correct any errors.
An order becomes binding once the customer confirms the order with an obligation to pay and payment has been successfully authorised.
An order confirmation is sent electronically to the email address provided by the customer.
Soie de Siam reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in legitimate circumstances, including suspected fraud, payment failure, manifest pricing errors or product unavailability. Where payment has already been collected for an order that cannot be fulfilled, the corresponding amount will be refunded.
5. Payment
Payments are made in euros (€).
Depending on availability at checkout, accepted payment methods may include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Shop Pay and PayPal.
The payment methods actually available for a particular order are displayed at checkout.
Payment is due when the order is placed.
6. Order Cancellation Before Dispatch
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@soiedesiam.com.
If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will make every effort to cancel it and issue a full refund.
Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled. You may, however, exercise your right of withdrawal after receiving the order in accordance with Section 10 below.
7. Delivery
Soie de Siam delivers to eligible destinations in Europe and Asia. The destinations currently available are displayed during checkout.
Our standard delivery charges and estimated delivery times are currently:
France and Thailand: €4 — estimated delivery within 3–5 business days.
Other eligible European and Asian destinations: €10 — estimated delivery within 5–8 business days.
Soie de Siam maintains stock in France and Thailand to facilitate delivery to these markets.
The delivery method, applicable delivery charge and estimated delivery timeframe for each order are confirmed at checkout.
Delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, public holidays, weather conditions or customs procedures. Where a delay occurs, the customer's statutory rights remain unaffected.
8. Tracking
When an order has been dispatched, the customer will normally receive a confirmation email containing a tracking link where tracking is available.
If you have not received your dispatch or tracking information within 48 hours of the expected notification, please check your spam or junk folder before contacting contact@soiedesiam.com.
9. Taxes, Customs and Import Charges
Applicable taxes, delivery charges and other amounts collected by Soie de Siam are displayed at checkout before the order is confirmed.
For international deliveries, customs duties, import taxes or other charges may apply depending on the destination and the delivery arrangement used.
Where such charges are not collected at checkout, they may be payable separately in accordance with the applicable customs and tax rules of the destination country.
The conditions applicable to each order are presented at checkout before the order is confirmed.
10. Right of Withdrawal
Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, customers have 14 calendar days from the date on which they, or a third party designated by them other than the carrier, receive the goods to notify Soie de Siam of their decision to withdraw from the purchase, without having to provide a reason.
To exercise this right, the customer must send a clear and unambiguous statement expressing their decision to withdraw to:
11. Returning Products Following Withdrawal
After notifying Soie de Siam of their decision to withdraw, the customer must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after communicating that decision.
Customers should contact contact@soiedesiam.com for return instructions before sending the product.
The customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods when exercising the right of withdrawal, unless otherwise stated or agreed by Soie de Siam.
The customer may handle and inspect the product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. The customer may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that purpose.
Products should therefore be returned in their original condition, unworn and, where reasonably possible, with their original packaging.
12. Refunds Following Withdrawal
When the right of withdrawal is validly exercised, Soie de Siam will reimburse the payments received for the relevant purchase, including the cost of standard delivery where required by applicable law.
If the customer selected a more expensive delivery method than the standard delivery method offered, the additional delivery cost is not refundable.
The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after Soie de Siam is informed of the customer's decision to withdraw.
For sales of goods, Soie de Siam may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been received back or the customer provides evidence that they have sent them back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise.
13. Damaged, Incorrect or Non-Conforming Products
If you receive a product that is damaged, incorrect or does not conform to your order, please contact contact@soiedesiam.com as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide your order number, a description of the issue and, where useful, photographs showing the problem.
Where a product is defective, damaged, incorrect or non-conforming, return costs will not be borne by the customer where applicable under their statutory rights.
This section does not limit or replace the customer's statutory legal guarantees.
14. Legal Guarantees
Customers benefit from the mandatory legal guarantees provided by applicable French consumer law, including the legal guarantee of conformity and the legal guarantee against hidden defects, where applicable.
These legal guarantees apply independently of the right of withdrawal and are not affected by any commercial return policy offered by Soie de Siam.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any mandatory statutory rights available to consumers.
15. Exchanges
Soie de Siam does not currently offer direct exchanges.
If you wish to purchase another product, you may return an eligible product in accordance with the applicable withdrawal or return conditions and place a new order separately.
This does not affect your rights in relation to damaged, incorrect or non-conforming products.
16. Product Availability
Products are offered subject to availability.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Soie de Siam will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible.
Where Soie de Siam is unable to fulfil an order for an unavailable product, the amount paid for that product will be refunded.
17. Personal Data
Personal data collected in connection with orders is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Customers are invited to consult the Privacy Policy for further information regarding the collection, use, storage and protection of their personal data.
18. Intellectual Property
All content appearing on soiedesiam.com, including texts, designs, patterns, illustrations, photographs, videos, logos, trademarks and graphic elements, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing a product does not grant the customer any intellectual property rights in the designs, patterns, branding or other protected elements associated with the product or Soie de Siam.
19. Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.
Where a customer resides in another country, this choice of law does not deprive the customer of any mandatory consumer protection afforded by the laws applicable to them that cannot legally be excluded by agreement.
